Say What?

Today our most honorable MUET teacher gave us the topic "Girls are better than boys" to be debated amongst  our class. The main purpose was to encourage those who couldn't really speak English to just voice themselves out and well, just improve their speaking skills.

But I had to ask myself: "Why this topic?"

Sure, there were many a number of comments everyone shared. OK, not really everyone - ALMOST everyone had something to say. But to me, however way you see it, both genders are more or less equal.

Hey, not that I ain't making a stand for us guys OK? I'd rather remain neutral on this topic. But in any way, its true. Like how people say girls are smarter than guys - it's just a load of bull! As long as effort is put in, any guy can be as smart as the ladies. In other words, equality is there even if you try to look at it through other viewpoints. It just depends on the individual himself/herself.

So what if there are differences? We're still human in the end. Might as well live and let live.
