A US indie singer was around to perform for the INTI-ans. I kinda forgot his name, but I'll edit this part when I remember it. Something like Beau... last name something. OK, maybe Beau Doe for now. Haha!
He performed quite well, I'd say. I didn't really stay for it, but I could tell he had some talent. But who am I to judge him? He's experienced, after all.
A little later, I met up with ol' pal Thomas Liew. He hasn't changed a bit, and I'm happy to see him (and not to mention annoy him as usual XD). Friendship is one thing we both treasure, after all. So we had some chat time while having 'char koay teow' at the nearby hawker center. Then we went to help out with the preparations for the Youth Empowerment that begins tomorrow. It felt good to be part of the team, when I'm supposed to be a participant. Heh, I guess it's just me.
I was quite surprised that Dr. Sia, one of the adminstrators of INTI and who was one of the facilitators at last year's event, still recognizes me. She was like: "What are you doing here? It's just a repeat of last year's event, you know."
I just grinned and said: "No prob. I'm just here to see old friends and have fun, that's all!"
But that is true. I have no intention of actually getting a scholarship. I wish I could, but... circumstances force me not to. I'm afraid it's the truth.
Well, it's getting late now. Will try my best to keep you all updated as much as possible. Cheers, and good night!
