Dear friends,
I'm not like RJ
I don't have the charisma or the talent to charm the pants off the ladies, let alone flirt with them.
I'm not like Tihn Chern
I don't have the 'semangat' he carries with him while on duty, or the fun-loving nature he exhibits off duty.
I'm not like Terence
He's just so cool about stuff. I often wish I was like that sometimes.
I'm not like Kar Heng
It's a little hard for me to communicate with women sometimes. And he does it with flair!
I'm not like Sandra
I only display a (near) megawatt smile is when I'm really, really happy. Which is rare.
I'm not like Kelly
She's so knowledgeable in lots of things, while I'm only touching the tip of the iceberg.
I'm not like Mabel
I don't really have an observant eye for creativity in whatever I see.
I'm not like Jane
Sometimes, it's hard for me to mix around freely with people, even close friends.
I'm not like Eva
If I was like Eva, I'd probably be having a more awesome kind of life than now!
I'm not like Ashiran
If I was like him and Eva, my life would be thrice more awesomesauce!
I'm not like Ally
There's never a day I see her that she's not smiling - unlike me.
I'm not like Christopher
I don't dance my way to fame; I just get on with life on this lonely, dusty road
I'm not like Calvin Tan
I can never be straight-forward all the time; it'll hurt me more than it'll hurt them.
I'm not like Sara
She's always bubbly everyday no matter what; why can't I be just as lively as her?
I'm not like Mark
His faith binds him close to God, his friends and his life; me, my faith is like thin ice.
I'm not like Deborah
She's got all that she wants and more, and though it comforts me it hurts me at the same time.
In spite of all that - all that I lack, all that I can improve on - nevertheless my very existence here in this world means that somehow, there is meaning to what I do everyday, even though I make mistakes. In the end, they are an inevitable part of life, and I should work on them as best as I can.
I may not have the words, the brains, the cash, the looks, the talent or whatsoever, it shouldn't mean I should feel inferior to others.
I may not be appreciated or considered a friend, but it's their loss that they don't want to know me better.
I may never appease everyone's wishes everytime; I'm telling you now: take it or leave it.
I may inconvenience you sometimes, but every good deed of yours I shall rememeber and repay in future.
I may never be able to help you out, but I'll do all I can in my power to help you no matter what.
You and I may not be so close, but you're still my friend nonetheless.
You and I may have our differences, but in the end we're identical.
We are all born the same in terms of personality. It's just that when we start off our childhood, the road we take ultimately shapes our final character. One may be hard-headed, another may be soft, while another may be very close-minded. It's a wonder how childhood also plays an important role in shaping a person, apart from parental guidance and sort.
I've gone through thick and thin and reached this point. Should I let it all go to waste?
Absolutely not.

Though the road stretches at an infinite distance, with friends like you by my side, standing shoulder to shoulder (if possible XD) and united as one... I have no worries.
I'm not like Calvyn, who values his friends more than anything else like times infinity! The first time i saw you, i thought you were a friendly guy, but turns out... you're beyond that, brotha! ;D
