Friendship

Ah, friendship. Such a lovely, famous word. It means so much to people all over the globe (except for those who are at war among each other...) and I'm very sure you do too, as it's all about having people you know close to you, sharing talk, crap, life, laughs, sadness, etc.

I'm happy to say that I've many friends. I'm sure you do, too. Without friends it'll be a very lonely world for us. No happiness to share, no secrets to tell...

I'd like to tell you about a friend of mine, who's left to another place in the country as his family had to leave because of his dad's transfer to a new work place. His name is Timothy Ong.Yes siree, Tim (to the left) is truly a great pal. A respectable leader, a counselor, a thinker, a great joker, a hip dancer... what more can I say? Haha. Surely there can be no one like Tim to have as a great close friend.

I've known him since my primary days, but then we weren't as close to each other as we were during our secondary years. He carried an air of "cool", an aura of respect, and hust brought laughs whenever he tells any of my friends one of his jokes. I can never forget all the fun times we had, as a Prefect (we were both in the same Commission), as classmates and as best buddies. Sometimes I laugh to myself whenever I reminisce on his exploits and daily insults hurled at poor fellow classmate Mark. Ha, those times!

Yes, those were the days.

Alas, he has gone to Taiping in the Siulver State here, and now we cannot share those great times we did the years before. Still, I will never forget him as a great person; not just as a friend, but as a brother-in-arms.

I'll take my leave now. If there's anything you'd like to say about this cool guy, please leave a note. I'll see you guys soon.

(P.S. - This is to all CS-ians of the 2007/2008 administration. WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE??? If you ever stumble on my blog, leave me a note, and any form of contact- e-mail, blog, phone, whatever. As long as it's not Friendster or MySpace or any of that sort, 'cos I don't got one.)

Viewpoints: We Need Change

Firstly, thanks to the former spammers of my old blog for posting their comments on the CBox. My apologies if I had been rude before, but I'm sure that from here on we can be friends, and talk and laugh about everything in Life. Thanks again.

Now, to business!

As President Obama had stated in his campaign rallies, we need change we can believe in. I highly agree with his quote on change, as it signifies a sign of adapting to the future, preparing to face anything that is totally unexpected and random. This is a positive thing, but sometimes I see that people don't want to embrace change at all. Why so?

Post your ideas and perspectives on this subject. Tell me what you think of change, how to accept it, etcetera etcetera. I welcome all your views. In the meantime, I won't be posting for a short while, as I'm focusing on my impending monthly exam. I'll post whenever I can, so I hope you'll be patient to see my next post out. See ya! :-)

A New Dawn

Well hi, guys. Sorry for the sudden shift of change. Things didn't really seem bright for the previous blog, and Mav had to leave for London due to some important stuff, so I guess that leaves me here.

Haha, just kiddin'. The truth is that Mav doesn't exist. He's actually me.

Yeah, so what? He's like my alter ego: the rebellious and hot-headed me, although he's much wiser than me, I must admit. Whatever; I'm not gonna digress on this.

Thing is, I started this blog because I decided to just do it as my own self, not because the previous ill-fated blog was spammed to the max, haha. Anyways, thanks to the spammers- whoever they are- for doing so, because they showed that I should just rather be myself rather than impersonate another. Thanks again, guys! :-)

So, I hope you'll enjoy this new blog. I'll still put up my thoughts on life and everything else in between, so if you have the same thoughts or stuff, you can say it out on the Comments or the CBox coming back soon. In the meantime, Ave friends!

Penguins!
