Daniel Powter's Next Plane Home

I woke up early to baby blue eyes from afar whoah whoah
And when the sun comes through and lights you like the angel you are whoah whoah whoah
I know I do you wrong when I'm with you I've been gone

With every season change, it looks the same november to june whoah whoah
And don't these empty streets skip a beat the flowers don't bloom whoah whoah
I can't believe I missed your birthday again
And I wanna come back but I just don't know when now

And I'm so lonely your not here with me
That's way I'm gonna be on the next plane home

The road that never ends around the bend I see your smile whoah whoah
I'd swim across the sea to be with you for a while whoah whoah
Cos I've made a life of been gone
Now the way that I feel I just don't belong

And I'm so lonely you're not here with me
Thats why I'm gonna be on the next plane home
And you're you're the only face I wanna see
Thats why I'm gonna be on the next plane home

Stand around try to make every moment
And be somebody yeah anybody
It seems the whole world is taking me over
I need somebody to help me get back to

And I've always been a million miles away
But things are gonna change
I just wanna come home

And you're you're the only face I wanna see
Thats why I gonna be on the next plane home

Yeah I'm taking the next plane home
Now I'm getting the next plane home
Now I'm taking the next plane home

Life Goes On - Post Confession, Day 4

Yeah, Life has to go on.

D'oh!

If not then what's the point in living? Right?

So anybody who knows someone I know too, but I can't seem to contact, please inform them of that post. Thanks. =)

It's important that they get the message.

I'll see you soon.

Updates - Post Confession, Day 4

So, things have finally simmered down. I've settled the Misunderstanding, though probably having its consequences. Nothing I can do for now except pray that things'll be alright.

I'll see you guys soon. =)

Updates - Post Confession, Day 2

The hols are almost over. What, already?? Oh well, at least I've used up the time wisely. Studying hard to face the SPM and hoping I'll do better.

When school reopens, I am NOT really anticipating the results of the Trial exams. I don't really want to know, but then again, it can't be helped... LOL.

Any tips any one of you guys could give me? Really appreciate it. LOL XD
I wonder how many times I've asked. LOL.

So, how're things going on for you? Good? Hopefully so. In the meantime we've a long road ahead of us. So keep moving on!

Anyways, honest apologies from the bottom of my heart to anybody I may have offended these past few days. Read my previous post if you don't get it.

Catch up with you soon. =)

An Update - Post Confession

So, how? Will you forgive me? Or do I have to beg it from you?

Let me know, OK?

A Confession: The Real Deal

OK, dear readers, let's play a game. It's called Being Honest, and I assure you it's an easy game to play. All you have to do is tell the truth. That's all.

So let's begin, starting with ME.

Oh, before I continue, allow me to apologize if anything I say hurts your feelings, intelligence or whatsoever. Just be prepared for anything. And don't think I want your sympathies. No; I just want you guys and gals to understand what I'm going through right now. Anyway, a million apologies in advance to all of you for everything I will type out here.

Truth be told, my Life sucks. Heck, it sucks so bad the only way I can let all the suckiness go is to drain it down a black hole for a few months or so. Yeah, you can say it's quite terrible.

Let's see, what do I have that bugs me a lot?

Firstly, studies. There seems to be a lack of spiritual willingness to pick up a book and study, or do continuous revision and in turn help me get good grades in the upcoming SPM. I've like, what, two months or so before the Day comes? So how?

Am I just gonna sit down in front of the computer all day and ignore my studies and my parents' nagging, or do I take a stand (err, I mean a seat) and revise 24/7? Of course it has to be the latter! So what's so hard about doing it? You tell me, 'cause I'm on a need-to-know basis here. If ever I can't seem to do the right thing, does this mean I am a failure? Well, I AM one already, aren't I?

The word 'loser' is written all over my face, just like how 'failure' is written all over Charlie Brown's. I can see them clearly in the mirror. (Thank you to those of you who don't) So what have I gotta do?

(Bro, if you're reading this, I sure could use your help - a lot of it!)

Secondly, my social life. Remember that Misunderstanding I had only recently? Well, I don't think I've really settled it properly. Well, that's what I think.

On this subject, let me ask you an honest question. Remember, you MUST be honest!

OK: do you really really really really HATE my guts? Heck, so much you could just kidnap me and dump me in a black hole? (and coincidentally solving my problems...) BE HONEST WITH ME, PLEASE.

If you do, then there must be some way I can change so that I can still have you as a friend for life. Take the Misunderstanding between me and Sue Jean. (Real names used since this IS a very honest post) I still think that I haven't resolved the matter yet. Have I?

I can only get an answer from her, so for now I'm still quite in the dark. But something tells me that I need to find a way to correct it somehow. I hate myself if ever I say or do something to hurt someone, whether or not I'm justified. In the end I'll always be the one asking for forgiveness and solve the problem. You can ask my friends; they'll attest to it.

I've been continuously attempting to find a way to explain the matter to her, but so far it's been in vain. So now, I make my stand not just to Miss Jean, but to all of you readers. (You too, bro!)

If imperfection was in everyone's genes, then I must have the rare Extremely Imperfect gene that is only found in one out of ten billion people. Everything I do seems to be adversely affecting my life and that of others. Everything I do doesn't please everyone almost everytime. And I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME. Add this with my extreme short-term memory loss, and you have a recipe for disaster.

In this case, what I say never turns out to be the right thing to say. I have had arguments with many of my friends before because of small things that shouldn't even be argued about. I had lost a friend before because of words (coupled with my own foolish actions). I almost lost another because he was nowhere to be found. (Mind you, I carpool with this pal of mine) And now it seems I'm on the verge of losing another.

WHAT THE F*** IS GOING ON????

To everyone of you - Sue Jean, Thomas, Ai Yean, Monil, Thean Soong, Leroy, Benjamin, Sara, Timothy, Tihn Chern, Wai Keong, Kelly, and anybody else I know - I deeply apologize for any wrong I have done unto you. I promise you all that I will not make the same mistake again. Just give me reason, but don't give me choice, lest history repeats itself.

I'm in lots of stress right now, so please do be considerate. Remember I'm not looking for sympathy, just your understanding. With your grace, you will be able to build me up into a better person, and the titanic burden I carry in my heart shall be lightened. Long story short, you're helping me greatly. And I will be thankful to you for all eternity.

If you have anything you'd like to add, please do leave your say in my CBox or Comments section. If you prefer to discuss this privately, then you can email me. It should be provided in my Profile.

Thanks for your time, and I'll see you soon. =)

Updates

At home now. Not blogging. This is just another scheduled post.

Probably sleeping now. Or studying. Or having breakfast. Dunno. Guess yourself.

Dedications - The Alpha

Yes, that's right. Public dedications. A new thing I'm starting up other than my usual updates and the Memories of the Day.

It WILL be embarrassing, but to prevent any of that, I'll use a certain moniker to address the person. If you know it's you being dedicated, you can just send me a reply to my email (it should be on my profile I thinks), so it may be a private conversation if you feel shy to reveal yourself.

Yeah, you can if you want to, but if you want your privacy protected, then email's the way to go. And those of you who read these, DON'T REVEAL that person's identity for good reason(s), mostly for security and avoidance of humiliation. Ok? Good. Thanks.

So, on to the first:

Friend,
I dedicate this to you.

We've only met sometime ago and only correspond rarely - through our blogs and our hand phone numbers. That's it. I don't complain; perhaps we'll meet more often in future. Who can say for sure when it comes to Fate's will? But even though we only communicate through those channels, I thank God for knowing someone like you.

But in the end, I only brought problems. A misunderstanding seems to linger on in my memory, and I can never seem to forget it. Though forgiven, I still feel that it's not enough to apologize that way. only if I can meet you again someday, face to face, can I truly know whether this burden can be lifted off my heart.

I apologize continuously until finally this matter is resolved. I believe it may have, but I can never be too sure. Am I?

Anyway, thanks again for the friendship we've shared. I still appreciate it, and I will always remember it.

So What Have You Been Up To?

I'm asking you people, OK? Drop me your say. It could be studying, babysitting your little bro, sleeping all day, crapping, dating, dreaming of your girl/crush, gaming, lazing about, working part-time.... whatever! I wanna know:

What have YOU been up to?

Drop your says at the Comments section or CBox. See ya soon.

This Is Life!

So what do you think makes Life so great or cruel? Do you feel that way? Is your life in control?

Ask yourself that question. But always keep in mind the Golden Rule of Life: it's what it is!

But surely you can change it? Of course you can! Who can't, and who won't?

It's all up to you and your choices. Life is full of winding roads that'll lead you to where you want to, depending on the choices you've made. It's all in your own hands!

I'll see you soon.

Updates - Again

Hmmm, my blog is rather quiet now. Wonder why.

Anyway, I still have the feeling that I'm still carrying a burden in my heart. Somehow. That's what Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, tells me in my heart. I'm worried.

What's your opinion? Am I still needing help, or I still need to look for forgiveness?

Homecoming - Part 1

As Aiur came into his view, Executor Rydas sighed with sadness, noting the floating Zerg vessels that orbited his now-ruined homeworld, and the bright lights that dotted the surface, signifying burning Protoss cities. It seemed so long ago since he left Aiur, and now coming back made him feel depressed. Who would have known the Zerg would have finally found them?

Truth be told, he longed to see his homeworld again after the numerous victories he claimed against the Zerg within the farthest reaches of space. He longed to return to his birth place and feel the soft grass under his feet, breathe in the fresh fragrant air and reunite with old comrades and tell tales of their victories and experiences. Now it seemed like all his hopes were dashed.

"Executor, the fleet is prepared," called out his second-in-command, Praetor Yaren as he stood behind Rydas. Almost as old as Rydas was, Yaren was the best warriors Rydas has in his fleet and he was proud to serve with him throughout the years. They were almost inseparable, Rydas and Yaren. Everyone knew that fact, and respected it as much as they respected each other.

"Have all elements begin the assault immediately," Rydas replied, still gazing at the planet from the viewport. "Judicator Aldaris and Prelate Zeratul await us on the surface. The longer we delay, the faster they will fall."

"Yes, Executor."

"Once all the Zerg attackers have been dealt with, prepare the ground forces to secure the landing zone. Make sure all survivors have been rescued."

"I understand, Executor. I will lead the ground assault myself."

"You always do, Praetor. Now go. Our brethren are in peril."

As the Praetor turned away to leave, Rydas had a thought.
"And Yaren," he then added, just as Yaren was almost out of the door.

"Executor?" he enquired, curiously.

Rydas turned around to face the Praetor and sighed.

"Be careful, old friend."

Yaren chuckled to himself. "You need not worry of me, Rydas. En Taro Adun!"

Yaren left the room. Rydas turned back to face Aiur again. The Carriers had begun launching their offensive upon the Zerg's space force, a titanic clash between mighty Protoss ships and hordes of Zerg flyers bombarding each other. He sighed again. Truly this wasn't much of a homecoming.

"Take us into the battle," he ordered the ship's navigational drive. His flagship began to spin around like a lumbering giant as it moved to join the fleet. If this was how it was meant to be, then so be it. The Zerg will not find him lacking.

So What Am I?

Let's be honest: am I a great person to know, or am I just another lame excuse for one? What do you think?

Personally, after hurting the feelings of a few friends, doing lots of mistakes and such, I feel rather down about it.

Let me know what you think.

WHY???

Patrick Swayze has passed away. I found that out when I was listening to the radio in the morn. I didn't realize that it was him, until I saw the papers today. I was like, "HOLY SHIT, WTF????"

Honestly, I thought he'd make it. But still he fought a long way, and his perseverance and courage are to be remembered. Condolences towards his family.

WHY????

The Chase

The cold snowy ground crumbled under Private Jansen deVire's feet as he ran for his dear life. Once in a while he turned back to look out for his pursuers, hoping that they wouldn't gain on him. It sounds impossible to escape from them, but if no one tried how would they know?

It was a risk Jansen never intended to make, but in the end it was necessary. At least he had his armor, and in this cold, it'd provided him the heat needed so he wouldn't freeze. But would he last long?

Jansen checked his rifle as he ran: 97 rounds left. Fuck, he thought. It would take more than what he has now to strike down all his enemies. With only this much left and no spare ammo, it'd mean game over for him. But this game over doesn't come with a restart.

He heard them thunder after him, and it made his blood boil. They must have been toying around with him, so they let him run ahead before they do. But their patience must've been expended by now - if they had patience, of course. Switching his gun's firing rate to "Semi", Jansen let loose a few rounds wildly at his pursuers. He couldn't let them get him, and he couldn't let his rifle's only rounds go to waste.

Another three rounds poured out violently from his weapon. He heard one of them scream in pain as a bullet tear flesh and bone. Out of satisfaction, he barked at them gloriously. Their thundering feet seemed to sound much faster than before. This would mean...

...he's fucked.

Running on for his life, Jansen misses a step and trips on his own feet., slamming hard into the ground. His rifle fell away from his grip, and he cursed under his breath. He heard them approach, now so slowly as they knew he was about to die. Not wanting to give up, Jansen crawled as quickly as he could toward his gun. One of them lunged forward and kicked him aside into a fallen tree. He howled in pain as he crashed hard into its bark.

The others ran up to him and threw him around here and there, seemingly enjoying this whole new ball game. Jansen, utterly terrified and angered at the same time, desperately tried to escape them but all to no avail. It seemed his death draweth near...

He crashed into the ground again, cursing the beasts at their amusement. He turned to look away, and there in front of him, his rifle beckonned. It seemed none of them noticed the gun that lay right next to him at all, oblivious in their excitement to toy with their prey.

With lightning quick reflexes, he reached out for the rifle and grabbed it. In a split second he noted its ammo indicator - now at 67 - and cocked the gun, just in time before they realized what juist happened.

"Assholes," he spat at them, before the gun spewed fire and tore the heads of half the group off. The rest backed off as he fired another salvo, tearing their brains apart as the whizzing projectiles punched through their cranium in a bloody mess. So much for protection, he thought.

The gun clicked on empty. Just as one more was about to be blown apart by him.

The foe spun around to face Jansen. He was perspiring excessively under the helm, but he knew he couldn't let his fear be seen. Both of them stared at each other for a while, before the attacker growled.

"Come on, you bitch," Jansen murmured to the hunter, as he held the rifle like a club. His eyes gazed longingly at the sky as he thought of home. Winter has just begun, and he hopes his family's doing fine.

Both sides waited for a fleeting moment before they lunged at each other's throat.

* * * * *

The cold snowy ground was stained with fresh red blood as the Zergling fed itself on the clawed remains of Private Jansen deVire. It looked up from its meal and watched its surroundings intently, before it ululated a loud and piercing shriek into the air.

There was just enough for a few more Zerglings. They would come soon. It just knows.

As it went back to feasting, the air began to pour with snowflakes.

Memory of the Day

Memories of the day: LOL!!!!
Yes there were tonnes of laughs given out during our LTC, so much that we nearly split our sides laughing till we die. Haha, I'm sure those of you who went will still remember how much we laughed out loud like maniacs! In our sessions, in our games, at 'makan' time, when we lingered here and there, etcetera. It's just all about fun fun fun.

Gosh, it seems so long ago...

What I've Done

Recently? Nothing much. Just studying, playing on my comp, building new StarCraft campaigns for my entertainment, stuff like that. SPM's on the way, man, so obviously I do study!

How're your studies coming along? Good, I hope. The Trials were only the beginning, and I'm sure the Real Deal is tougher and freakier. So what can we expect? A few months of panic, grief, despair and boredom. Oh well, at least we have friends around the corner. They're there to help us out of the misery of the coming Apocalypse.

So in the meantime, get back to work! There's a long road up ahead for us to cross.

Up: The Best Yet

The movie "Up", Disney-Pixar's latest animated film, deserves to be chosen as the opening film for the illustrious Cannes Film Festival in France. After you watch it, you'll be enthralled by its marvel and its beauty, taken away on the greatest adventure of your life in all movie history.

After all, adventure is out there!

The story tells of Carl Fredrickson, a retired balloon vendor who lives alone after his wife Ellie passes away. Her death has made him a reclusive man who continues to live in the old house, even as construction takes place all around the home. Though the construction company has offered him a large sum of money to move out, he refuses to budge. Unfortunately, a scuffle laves him with an eviction notice, and he has no other choice but to permanently leave the old house.

Or does he? Well, since you've all seen the trailer, you already do know that Carl decides to fulfill his late wife's promise: to head to Paradise Falls. So off he goes in his balloon-lifted house, into the air and far out to new places.

And then there's Russell, the little Wilderness Explorer who stows away on the Fredrickson abode. Though chased away the previous day by Carl (no thanks to the 'snipe'), he somehow was looking for the 'snipe' when the house suddenly went air-born. And the moment they survive a thunderstorm cloud, the adventure begins!

I promise you this is truly THE FILM OF THE YEAR!! It's got everything one needs: adventure, fantasy, love, sadness, truth, and of course lots of comedy (dog lovers will love this film too)to go. You'll enjoy this as much as everyone else who've seen this movie. Disney-Pixar never seem to fail in their brilliant work. Kudos!

I even cried when I saw the beginning! (not exactly went "Boo-hoo!", but you get the drift)

Memory of the Day

Memory of the day: Sara smiling away back at Tim's farewell party last November.
In my opinion, this has to be the best pic of Sara I have in my collection. There's something appealing to her wide grin that just displays 100% pure happiness and joy. You can feel the aura of happiness that radiates from her. I mean, you don't get to find people who're just as lively as her now, you don't. (Did I go a little too over with my words here? Oops...)

Me, you say? I'm not lively, but merely overshadowed amongst the people around me. I try to, but does it matter? Well, I'll just live with that.

Updates

Dear readers, I bring good news!

I have finally settled the Misunderstanding, and now everything seems alright. It seems I'd misinterpreted her words to be filled with anger, but then again I'd mistaken them. So we both have said our sorries and now we're friends again! Yay! =)

On the next matter, the Trials are almost over, and I can't wait! I'll take a quick break and then I'll be rockin' them beats with the Real Deal! Oh yeah! So wish me luck, yeah?

So, the next post that'll come up will be a review of the movie "Up" from Disney-Pixar and a few stuff to keep you readers happy. In the meantime, I'll see you soon.

Memory of the Day

Memory of the day: Fans of Adriann Gee show off cards that make up the phrase: "GEE WE LOVE YOU!"
Absolutely ridiculous. It was taken at the Band Competition on the 24th of July, where our illustrious Band won second place. Kudos again to them!

Forgiving The Wrongs Of Man

If you remember, dear readers, that recently I have made a public apology to a friend of mine with whom I had did wrong to. I must tell you that I have regretted doing such a thing since I found out about it, and I have already made amends to seek forgiveness.

However, I have yet to receive a reply from her. Yet. I believe she will, but now's not the right time as the Trials are still ongoing. Though I have apologized to her in almost every way possible, I know time is still needed to find a way to forgive, or something. I guess I'll have to wait to say I'm sorry for now.

I'm sure that we've all made mistakes, but the question is: why can't we say sorry when we should?

Normally, when we do wrong we are always inclined to make amends for it. However in this fast growing world there seems to be a lack of it. Why so? How can we prevent this from happening?

If we are to find a way to cure this, one way would be to instill values in the hearts of the young generation now. Doing so will enable us to build a new generation that does apologize for the wrongs they've made, thus building a new age in human growth in all aspects. Heck, world peace would be achieved this way!

I believe so. In time that generation will be born. I just hope it will in time.

Again, a thousand sincere apologies to my dear friend Sue Jean again, the one I have wronged to. I will wait for your reply, and I believe you will reply very soon. I can promise you that it won't happen again in future, as I value every friendship of mine, but I cannot promise that I will become a better person. I'm not as perfect or sweet as you - or any one of you reading this who knows me - had once told me before. I'm sorry.

That's all for now. G'bye.

The Darkening

Times are not well for me.

Why? Ask Maverick and see.

You'll get the picture.

In the meantime, FOCUS!!!

SPM Trials aren't over. YET...

Memory of the Day

Memory of the day: All smiles from our mates on the mat.
This was taken on the first day of the LTC, when we were divided into several groups to find the best way to turn the mat we stood on without letting our feet touch the (cold) ground. After much jumping, counting, sliding and laughing, we managed to do so, all thanks to our easy cooperation. We had fun too, as seen in the pic above. (Note: the activity actually hasn't even begun in the pic taken!)

The triumph achieved was also memorable.
What fun we had...

Gemuruh Jiwa

The fire burns again in the soul of Calvyn/Maverick!

Trials are still ongoing, but now three days are set for more revision. Can't wait for the season to end. Good luck again to all Trial takers, both SPM and STPM!

Signing off now =)

And a very public apology to Miss Sue Jean who I may have offended by accident. I'm really sorry for making you angry or anything. I'll make it up to you, if it's possible, but for now this will have to do. Sorry again...

Penguins!
