Quick Update

Coming Soon: more news from the galactic front!

And newer stories. Hopefully. Right now, I'm hooked on Dawn of War II and finding time to do a new post is hard. Haha, distractions. XD

Galactic News

Recently, the Battle of Corvian Septus has been won by the mighty Imperial forces after countless years of assailing the deeply-entrenched Chaos fortress-land of Markelion Pryme. Victory would not have been possible without the valiant efforts of the 112th Draconian Firedogs, the 55th Urshani, the 603rd Death Korp of Krieg, the Dark Angels' 6th Company, the Blood Angels' 3rd Company and the White Scars' 4th Company, supported by the bulk of Battlefleet Argentus.

The final blow was struck to the beleaguered Chaos forces as the Dark Angels infiltration team, led by Veteran Sergeant Carsyon, detonated the explosive charges set around the lower walls of the unassailable fortress, leaving behind nothing but rubble, dead cultists and the tanks of the Imperial Guard rumbling through the great gash in the wall.

Reports are still unclear at the moment, but it has been circulated that the Chaos daemon that commanded the forces of the Dark Gods here has been slain by the Dark Angel Company Commander, Captain Androvar Macrae, in a desperate battle towards the end of the campaign. If this is true then a great victory this has been for all Mankind.

The last remnants of the fortress will be cleansed in orbital fire from the main guns of the Strike Cruiser Emperor's Light and the flagships of Battlefleet Argentus. Once complete, Administratum officials will continue with the reconstruction efforts of the wartorn planet and hopefully, rehabilitation will commence in three months' time.

There has been no comment by any of the Imperial leaders as of now.

Updates

The Speaker's Forum is dawning. And I'm seriously worried sick!

Hell, who wouldn't be? It's the first time I'm participating in a forum - and it's a competition, mind you - and I dunno if I might just screw it up!

AARGH!!!

Oh what the hey. Just do your best and get over it, that's what I say!

My mind is a raging turmoil. I can't explain why, but all I know is that I am only drawing closer to oblivion if I annot do something about it.

Why am I turning into this? I remember when I used to be the cheerful one, always an image of happiness and joy and pure comedy. Well, technically, I still am. But Time does a lot to a person.

Now I'm only wearing a mask to hide the defects that plague me within. That mask is the only thing that keeps me sane to your eyes. But sooner or later, that cold void will eventually break loose from me, and that may be my very end. That may mean that it will be the end of me. My descent into darkness.

Now maybe you must be thinking: "My, aren't you a big black hole of pity and need". I reject your say. I may be at the edge of sanity, but that doesn't mean I want you to sympathize with me. Simply understand me, and let me be. If you want to help me, then just do it passively rather than actively. I have to fight my inner demons if I want to continue to live.

There isn't much for me to continue living for, save my beloved family, my trusted friends, and maybe even the girl of my dreams. I can only pray that Heaven grants me the strength to push on through thick and thin until I find true meaning in living Life.

I pray that my fortitude will never falter.

Tales From INTI Nilai

Well, INTI. Not much to say for today, I'm afraid.

A US indie singer was around to perform for the INTI-ans. I kinda forgot his name, but I'll edit this part when I remember it. Something like Beau... last name something. OK, maybe Beau Doe for now. Haha!

He performed quite well, I'd say. I didn't really stay for it, but I could tell he had some talent. But who am I to judge him? He's experienced, after all.

A little later, I met up with ol' pal Thomas Liew. He hasn't changed a bit, and I'm happy to see him (and not to mention annoy him as usual XD). Friendship is one thing we both treasure, after all. So we had some chat time while having 'char koay teow' at the nearby hawker center. Then we went to help out with the preparations for the Youth Empowerment that begins tomorrow. It felt good to be part of the team, when I'm supposed to be a participant. Heh, I guess it's just me.

I was quite surprised that Dr. Sia, one of the adminstrators of INTI and who was one of the facilitators at last year's event, still recognizes me. She was like: "What are you doing here? It's just a repeat of last year's event, you know."

I just grinned and said: "No prob. I'm just here to see old friends and have fun, that's all!"

But that is true. I have no intention of actually getting a scholarship. I wish I could, but... circumstances force me not to. I'm afraid it's the truth.

Well, it's getting late now. Will try my best to keep you all updated as much as possible. Cheers, and good night!

Thoughts From INTI

Ah, INTI. So glad to be back in your walls.

Ah-ha, if you think I'm crazy, I'm actually fine and dandy. It's just sentimental feelings after coming back to a place where I met lots of great people and had loads of great fun! That was all last year, at the inaugural Youth Empowerment Camp of 2009, where me and my other buddies had the time of our life.

If you're wondering how I'm blogging this when you know I don't have a laptop or portable Internet gizmos whatsoever, I'm actually at a CC within the campus area itself! I mean, a CC! In a campus! WTF?

Indeed, INTI's a big place. Apart from the numerous halls of residence, it boasts cool facilities, awesome labs and classes, great food, and loads of other cool stuff! (If you wanna know more, though, you'd have to ask Thomas, 'cos he's studying there)

The only reason I'm here is just to see old friends and have loads of fun in the process. I'm not exactly THAT interested in studying here, especially due to the high prices I'd have to pay just to study here. Believe me, I can't afford the lifestyle of Nilai. Might as well complete my F6 first before moving on.

Well, gotta go now. Will keep you posted with other notes and what-nots, but I can't promise you they'll be posted early. See ya soon, readers!

Updates

Just had an awesome blast with Blogger's new Template Designer feature. Now my blog looks really awesome!

Only thing is, it may just cause the servers to lag 'cos it's so damn cool! XD

AWESOMESAUCE!!!

Blogger outdid itself this time.

Well, things have been pretty queit here. Apart from the homework I'm still dealing with (believe me, it ain't easy stuff) I've other things to focus on as well - like the upcoming INTI Youth Empowerment and the Speaker's Forum next week. Sigh, busy busy busy.

Oh well, that won't stop me!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have resources to search for. Ta-ta now.

Holiday Updates

My holidays are amply packed with things to do. Whether it regards the Speakers' Forum on the 26th, or the INTI Youth Empowerment, or other outings - man, I haven't the time to do my homework! XD

And I'm hooked onto Mass Effect 2 - can't get enough of it!

Updates

Busy with IT work here. Teacher just asked us to try and create an integer comparison program using the Turbo C++ software on our computers. I had to refer to resources on the Net (I ain't that great a programmer!) and in the end I did it.

Programming is difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes quite fun! XD

So far, things are OK. I've loads of work to do, and I'm hoping that my bro's computer won't stop me from finishing up what I need to work on. I'm gonna need lots of sheer willpower! XD

Cheers for now, and happy holidays in advance! XD

Penguins!
