A Very Short Uppie

Hello again, readers. If you're reading this I tell you now I'm in Parkson. Again. LOL.

Not like I have any chioce. The house is empty and it wouldn't hurt to like go out a bit right? Anyways, my grandma is alright for those who're asking. She's quite alright, but her mind is still a little cloudy now. It'll take time and perseverance, so wish me luck, yeah?

I just hope I can really make it. I feel like I'm failing this trial, IMO. So please wish me luck, 'cos I feel I need a lot of it.

Anyway, I gotta go now. I've an appointment with a friend, but I won't tell you who. You can find out yourself, OK? Haha!

Farewell friends!

Thoughts In KL

Hey readers. I'm writing this to you in my dad's office in KL. Don't ask why I'm here, 'cause that's not the point. The point is, I'm now having a vacation here in Kl. Well, technically, it's NOT a vacation, 'cos I still've work that needs to be settled with. Yeah, sucks doesn't it?

I must say that it's been SO long since I last visited KL, and there's been many many noticeable changes. The sights, the sounds, the changes, the cars, the people, the life lived - golly gosh, it feels so strange and different, yet so familiar.

Kuala Lumpur is a growing city. With over 1.8 million or more inhabitants crammed (pardon the expression) in 24,365 square kilometres, it's considerably big for a city in the nation. After all, it is the capital city, the heart of Malaysia. Many people have come here to look for a future, even those from abroad (don't get me started on this one; I know what many of you are thinking). The city is filled with people who wander about the city and the neighbouring state of Selangor to work, work, work, work and occasionally rest. The tourists don't seem to worry much about it, obviously, since they have plenty of time to explore and be amazed by the city.

But even with all its marvel, splendour and bustle, KL is still like any ordinary capital in the world. The rush of people to work, the rush of traffic, the filled city streets, the populace busy with their lives - it's all the same. It's all routine, day in, day out. We're all living in a rat race that doesn't seem to have any breaks for us to take a breather. You get left behind... fill in the blanks yourself!

Anyway, do you agree with my post? Send me your comments, thoughts, opinions or shout outs on my CBox or the Comments section of this post. Tell me what YOU think of KL or, for that matter, your own capital. I look forward to hearing from you.

In the meantime, please excuse me as I'm waiting for my dad to take me to KLCC, my first ever visit there. (Honest!) See you soon, and happy hols!!

And For Our Next Guest...

...we have the respectable and ever bright Monil Tejani, my comrade in arms!

Yes, many of you who know him will instantly shout "Monkey!" when you see this. Please-lah, don't be so mean!

I don't really remember how long I've known him, but since then, he's been quite a great friend to have when you need some uplifting. He's a real comedian (although not as great King of Crap, shown in the pic, next to Monil) and a great motivator as well. He can provide you with some helpful advice that can get your spirits back up.

He's one real hell of a guy, much like Tim himself. If you share some crap with him, he can make it a memorable piece of crap shared. Really! Must be a trick he shared with the respectable Thean Soong himself. But honestly, he IS a fantastic person! Ask anyone else who knows him, or check out his blog and laugh till you drop.

C'mon now, don't say all that sh.... all that shrimp about him, 'kay? Really, you just don't really see what's deep within him. Well, maybe you do, but... erm, never mind.

Anyways, I gotta go, 'cos I've things to do around here. Cheers! And here's to you, Monil my mate!

Time Goes By

Well now, the exams are over and I can't wait for the holidays to start. It's only two days away!!!

Anyway, my grandma now is much, much better, thank you very much, and I'm happy to say she isn't as ill as we thought her to be. The docs are surprised that her recovery is a very SPEEDY one. Thank the gods for that!

Anyways, I've not much time to talk, 'cos right now I've got class going on as I type this. I'll try to post tomorrow, no worries! Cheerio!

Updates On Friendship

Well, the exam week is finally over! I feel relieved really, 'cos I don't have to go and cram my brain with lots of stuff. I'd rather stuff myself with ideas on future posts on my blog. Haha.

Anyway, here's another special mention for another great friend I know, shown in the pic above. It's Sara Lee, the Deputy Lady Head of the Prefectorial Board.

The thing is, I don't really know what to say about this great gal. Let's see: she's a great gal (obviously), a great friend, a respectable person, an over-joyful gal who always has a smile on her face... gee, there's too much to say about her.

Well, I'll just say she's a really fantastic and joyous person who can cheer you up by just being there. Not many can do that, not even yours truly .

Though if you cross her, you might get a sepak (or kick, in Malay) and I tell you it'll hurt. Ha, sorry Sara. You're still a sweet person, albeit a very tomboyish one. Please don't whack me once you read this...

Haha. Funny.
Still, her positivity and her faith in God, as well as her undying spirit of companionship make her a perfect symbol of hope in Humanity. We need more like her, just like people like me , Karen, Jia-Ee, Thean Soong, and many others.

Well, I'll elaborate more another time. I'll be off to look for Sara and have a chat, provided I can find her (I'm still in school, mind you. The blog clock is wrong). Cheerio!!

By the by, my grandma is now much better than the previous days. She seems fine already, and I'm very thankful for that. Thank you to all readers for giving your prayers for her. I owe you guys one!

Who needs shelter when the morning's coming?
Absolutely, there's no one!

A Very Brief Update

Only recently, my loving, caring grandmother- who has nurtured me since my birth- suddenly suffered a stroke, and was admitted to the hospital in the morning. It seems the left side of her brain had developed a blood clot, and that surgery was necessary to cure her.

The surgery was completed just about an hour or so ago, and thankfully, it went VERY WELL.

Believe me, I'm very very thankful to Heaven (FYI I'm Buddhist) that she recovered already.

Anyway, I won't stay long. Currently, I'm busy with my studies, as well as praying for my grandma's speedy recovery. Please, pray for her as well. See ya soon.

Penguins!
